Of cities and states

Since I got here, I have actually set foot to different cities and states. Make it for a trip to the market, a music show, or something rather important like attending a memorial service--in my 3 months here, I have had the chance to roam.

Asian towns! From Japan town to Korea town and China town... I go gaga over these places. From seeing chopsticks to candies, posters, hearing music and devouring food from these towns... we forget about our diet. I like these Asian finds and it brings me closer to home.

(China town in San Francisco)

In California, I've visited San Francisco a couple of times now. The airport is there, Union Square is there, shopping and what not. But San Francisco is cold. (What more in Seattle uh-oh). Remember that last visit after our Disney getaway, we headed to SF for a night before we travel back home and it was brrrr when we visited SFSU.

SFSU

My nose was screaming for warm air. I didn't get to have that until we headed back to Redding. Oh nose.

LA on the other hand is another story. Spell e-x-t-r-e-m-e-s. We headed to LA for our "honeymoon" trip and it was HOT. LA and San Diego were the two destinations. Being in an amusement park, the rides and the shows were both indoors and outdoors and the ones held outside were a pain in the skin.

We were nognogs by the time we got back to Redding. The heat was that bad even if you have SPF45 on your skin you'd still get toasted. Disney's heat was tolerable but when we headed to Seaworld in Carlsbad, it was a different story. Still, it was fun. LA was fun and that Korean Restau was delish.

Other places would have to be Sacramento. The go-to city for seafood and pinoy goods. There's an Ikea store in Sacramento that I got to visit when I had my biometrics done there.

Last stop and second to the farthest places I've been to was Seattle. Soon, this will be the place where we'll settle (for now.)

Last but not the least, the home away from home. I give you our very own Redding's Sundial bridge. It's the place to be (place to visit) if you're here. They say the weather is good out here but not until summer is over.

"Oh, the places you'll go." Thank you Martin for bringing me to these places. These places won't have any meaning nor worth kung wala ka.
