Now in Seattle

So we moved from Redding, Ca to Seattle, Wa (more like Lake Forest Park, Wa). We officially moved last week Sept 12. We (Martin) drove for 10 hours with Martin's parents driving the Uhaul truck, and brought rice and adobo for lunch, that Martin prepared a day before the trip.

(still empty and chaotic apartment 312)

I was excited and worried at the same time. Excited because all of these are again new "adventures" that will be placed in Martin and I's "together-together" book. Excited because we'll be alone, away from the others and we can decide on our own and work it out on our own. Of course there will be the constant get together and visits, but this whole relocation is good for me at least, I think. Being able to move and work as I want. It's a relief. I have nothing against the in-laws, but everyone will agree that it's better to not live under the same roof because there will be conflict no matter what. Now, I am worried since I know how we stand financially. Can we make it? Can we pay the bills? I worry about the financial aspects especially since I can't work yet. Work. Another worry of mine but that's another story. But once I get a job, I know we'll be okay. Until then though, we would need to worry about budgeting and being able to pay the bills on time, pay for the documents and papers that are needed for the adjustment, etc.

Today, I am home alone. I've never been alone since the day I got here in the US. I was always with Martin no matter what. Or around his family of course. Silly but again, I am okay with this. I've missed this. The same with working, I miss working. Not really the work itself but earning. Again, the work thing is for another blog. So for now, I'll make use of my time, not really to just do nothing but learn whatever I can and prepare whatever I need.

About doing what we want, a few trips here and there that we've made so far. And we're just getting started. Wait until we're both earning and it'll be a fun-filled-crazy-life with Mr. Orlino.
