Interview and a plus one!

We are nearing our interview date for my adjustment of status (Feb 16th) and we are all set. I think. We were able to find a Filipino civil surgeon and getting my documents transferred to I-693 was a breeze. Although there's no guarantee that it will be asked, it's better to be prepared than receive an RFE (again).

Right after our interview, we'll be heading to our first prenatal appointment. It is kind of late, but it was really hard to find and set an appointment. Good thing, we're able to find one now and I feel a bit relieved about it. I was worried it was taking forever and we won't be able to find a doctor who can meet us on our preferred time. Now that we have this settled...

It was really just this January that we talked about having a family. And because I am soooo irregular and because I THOUGHT it would be soooo impossibly easy (some even takes 6 mos to a year or so) we gave it a go. It took us what, 3 tries? So anyway, we had the home kit for only a week, just in case and because I just wanted to really try it, Friday morning on January 29th, I tried and I as laughing and showing it to Martin because it showed positive. He was on all celebratory mode (I am too but more shocked than everrr) and in frenzy he wanted to tell everyone and I was the one who was still sooooooo shocked and relaxed about it. After three hours, I did another test and of course, still the same result. Of course. So it's starting to sink in, slightly. We are happy and this is a blessing! I just hope and pray that we make it. We are inspired to be more! We can do this! There's a lot to think about, this is a lot to take in, I just hope everyone's safe and everything works out. Third test I took that night lol. I wanted to see that "Pregnant" word. I was telling Martin, "what if it says Not pregnant?", which, of course, didn't happen. Good!
One step at a time, we need to get this checked and make sure everything's safe and fine. So far, I'm not feeling anything outrageous. I'm just peeing more often and my breasts are ultra sensitive. Aside from those, everything's cool.
