Married for 5 months, that is. And we celebrated it in Ikea. Hehe. He said it really feels like we're married since we are buying furniture together. And I think he's right. Although for me, the moving to Seattle and living on our own, the preparing of meals, doing his work clothes laundry, managing (and not properly managing) our bills, that feels pretty married for me. I guess it's true that girls mature faster than boys. Kidding. Not.
So here we are checking out the items. A glass display shelves for his toys, and a book shelf for our books and other stuff that can be placed on it. Finally got to try that Swedish meatballs. It was good. Thus, we took home a bag. We bought the frozen bag of balls, along with the cream and the jam.
As soon as we got home, we started building the shelves. He was soo into it and all excited like a kid. It was perfect for his toys so it was a good deal and a worth it buy.
Our bookshelf was also a nice steal. All the clutter that I have kept are now out. Also, I had a haircut a week ago. It felt good although I should have had the layer just at the ends of my hair so it's a bit more manageable to blow dry and all.
I have been commuting a lot. Sometimes twice a week. Took a side turn once to check the UW area. I think this is THE Quadrangle with all the cherry blossom trees. Excited to see the trees in bloom come late March-early April. Cherry blossoms!!!
Martin's work is actually just near the Univeristy village. On our 4th month (of being married), we dropped by the U village to window shop. LOL. HHWW moment. It was too cold! We headed to Flipsum after to grab a dinner.
We also tried the Blue Sushi resto one time with the revolving conveyor belt. Just for experience. It was okay.
The apartment is failing us one month after another. We've been encountering issues and the last one was our washer. We had to resort to visiting a laundromat on a Sunday.
