It's the Holidays!

I'm not immobile! I mean I can commute by myself (and just to nearby places of course), that's all. It's liberating that I can do this now. Here. Although I am used to commuting back in the Philippines but of course everything is different from the time I came here in the US. It was like I can't do anything without Martin. I can't go to places (not that I want to go out without him), can't buy my own food, can't prepare any meals (before, back in Redding). But now, I can move around and that's a good thing. I think.

So I take the 372 bus after a 5-8 minute walk from the apartment. Sit there and gaze outside, sometimes or most of the times put my earphones on to listen to some music (now I can relax and really "enjoy" the travel), get off at the bus stop inside UW, walk for another 10 minutes and arrive at Martin's work place. Easy breezy.

Thanksgiving went by and we have been eating a lot. The parentals and family were here so that was fun.

That same Thanksgiving weekend,  after Martin's family headed to Seattle to visit us, we tagged along and followed them to Oregon since they're dropping by the Outlet stores.

It was sooo foggy that Sunday, the foggiest and scariest drive I've experienced since it was almost zero visibility. It was still okay in the afternoon.

But when we were heading home and reached Seattle, it was too foggy and dark.

We got home safe so it's all good. Time to prepare for the coming winter. I am gonna die from cold fo sho.
