Oh, happy day!

We get to choose who we let into our weird little worlds. And I choose you. (Pikachu!) <- The first two lines were part of my vows, but being Martin, the very next day, he made me repeat my vows and inserted "Pikachu" because of that game you play, where you get to choose the Pokemon character. All is good though. Bottom line, everybody went home happy and enjoyed the day. And I did too! Everything was DIY-ed, evidently we didn't have much to throw a "parteh" but doing it our way was even more meaningful. Of course, I hope mama was with me to walk me down the aisle, but we tried really hard to do that so let's carry on. The hard part on this entire wedding was really not having the people I need to help me out. If they were here, I would have people to care for my gown and iron steam it for me. Or have someone to carefully put my veil on. Or fix my curls just so it won't get too loose. Or take photos using my phone or camera so I would have copies of my own wedding. Or tell me my face it too oily I need some powder. But again, let's carry on. It was a happy day and I love that Martin's family welcomed me and my family warmly. Cheers to being married! Everything was so worth it. Here are some photos, credits to tito Manny :)

We're married for 23 days now. Since arriving here in the US, we've been preparing for the wedding like meeting people and checking out stores. And now, we do nothing productive. Time to get serious on keeping us healthy! On to serious life stuff, we'll be moving to Seattle this September so we need to find an apartment. Hope things work well in Seattle.
