Here we are, having a pinoy breakfast: dilis, salted egg and tomatoes, sinigang (and spam lol).
We went around downtown, Pike Place Market and Space Needle, although we didn't get a chance to go up the Space Needle because there was a really long line of people. We had to commute, thanks to the very convenient Uber and Orca cards. It was a short exploration of downtown Seattle since we still had to drive to Oregon that afternoon for the baby shower the next day.
The baby shower was of course something new to me. I'm not used to being in the center of attention, but still, I carried on. I wasn't stressed but Martin was (stressed and exhausted). Poor dada. But still, everything went well, food was apparently great and people enjoyed as well. Blessed to have a supportive family. Thanks to those who came: Lola Luming and tita Edith, tita Malou and tito Billy, Leona Marie, Tyler and Justinne (also from Redding and Tyler for helping in preparing the food!), and friends of kuya Andrew who we met that day. We feel blessed.
We drove back home with hearts filled with love. Thanks for this experience, it was a memorable and fun one!
